COVID-19 Statement

While many company and property owners take preventive measures against the spread of the novel coronavirus, many entrust their deep cleaning to Kelly’s while staying open to their customers or tenants. COVID-19 in the United States behooves fundamental changes in public and private interactions in all spaces.

At Kelly’s Janitorial, we take standards for sanitation and cleanliness very seriously and are taking steps to ensure the safety of our clients, their associates, and their customers

with regulated science-based cleaning, disinfection, and infection-control practices worldwide.

On a daily basis, we clean and disinfect our assigned facilities according to standards set by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a Division of  the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) which is the recognized leader in training, education, and certification in Forensic Restoration® biorisk management, decontamination, and infection-control disciplines.

Our health and safety measures, as illustrated by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from hand-washing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to offices and common area cleaning procedures. Specific steps Kelly’s Janitorial is taking include:

  1.  Associate Health, Safety and Knowledge: Our associates’ own health and safety knowledge is vital to an effective cleaning program.
  2. Ongoing Training: Our associates complete enhanced COVID-19 awareness training along with housekeeping and sanitation protocols.
  3. Cleaning Products and Protocols: We coordinate with suppliers to procure the protective equipment and virus-killing products approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. We implement these disinfecting protocols to clean areas after occupants depart and before they return with particular care to high-touch items and often frequented areas.
  4. Public Spaces: We increased focus and cleaning frequency of public spaces, with attention on counters, desks, chairs, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, and public bathrooms, which began long before COVID occurred.
Staying ahead of the curve, we are introducing our electrostatic, virus-killing sprayer application in common areas, entrances, locker rooms, stair wells and hallways to neutralize harmful pathogens.
